Brooklyn Bar Association Young Lawyers Section holds first fall networking event to support early-career attorneys

The Brooklyn Bar Association kicked off its promised amped up programming and networking opportunities for younger attorneys this week with the Young Lawyers Section's first fall happy hour under its new president, Ronald Sylvestre, Thursday. Sylvestre has said his strong belief in the importance of networking and supporting younger attorneys as they begin to grow their careers is what drew him to a position where he'd be working to help newer lawyers get their footing. New Brooklyn Bar Association President Daniel Antonelli has said it's also a priority he shares and that he's glad to work with Sylvestre to accomplish the goal with more events targeted towards the bar's younger demographic. “Having someone believe in you and want to help you can really, truly make the difference in how you perform,” Sylvestre has previously told amNewYork Law. “I want to make sure that more people have mentors.” [caption id="attachment_137876958" align="alignnone" width="700"] Vice Chair for Pros
